Featured Varieties
Our fig trees are rooting and growing now, they will be ready to ship beginning in April. This is for a preorder for one of our rooted fig trees in a 12” deep tree pot. These figs are grown in full sun, using organic inputs, and lots of love. Our trees have been grown in full sun, and experienced heat, cold, and wind to harden them off and prepare them to grow very fast and healthy. We work hard to offer the best fig trees, and specialize in cold hardy varieties. Our zone 5b fig nursery pushes figs to their cold limits, this cold helps them develop thick turgid leaves, that make for easier transitions to colder climates. Trees will be well rooted and just about ready for transplant into a larger container (6-15 gallon we recommend) or planted directly into the ground in zones 7 and warmer. If your in zone 5-6, we recommend growin in a pot the first year, then next spring in late may early june, transplant into a warm Sunny location. We’re also here to help on your journey so any questions please do ask!
It’s just me packing and growing so when the orders pile up they can sometimes take a few weeks to arrive. I will process them in the order that they arrive, and send them as soon as possible.
We try and ship mondays so the trees don’t sit over the weekend.
We are a licensed plant nursery who specializes in Cold Hardy Figs! Located in the small town of Boggsville Pennsylvania.

1- Just fruiting exotics black madiera not (JFEBMN) Fig tree cutting: unrooted (pre-order for November-December shipping)
This is a great variety, it’s not black madiera but it’s a very tasty fig. The leaves are thick and beautiful, the flavor is excellent, and it has a nice natural tree form. Mid to late season for us but in pots we still get lots of fruit. Definitely a top tier fig, and easy to grow, high vigor, and fast grower. Out of ease we often refer to it as black madiera 2 on our farm. Sorta reminds me of Italian -258 figs are mid sized and on the dense side.
Our fig trees are grown organically and tended to like kings! They are fed compost teas, organic kelp, rock dusts, and lots of other great things to ensure optimum health of our trees. We then wait patiently until the plants are fully dormant for the absolute best cuttings! To root there are many successful methods, some of the most popular favorites are : The fig pop method, the mini pop (new smaller version), in sand beds, or heat pads and pots. Our go to method is 2” press fit pots, filled with promix FPX “soil”, on heated sand beds set to 72 degrees, in full sun, in the early spring. We do not spray ANY pesticides, and take pride offering the finest cuttings we possibly can.
Figs are easy to grow, and great for climates from zone 5b and warmer. They have one of the most well documented histories of any plant of antiquity, being mentioned in some of the oldest texts known to man, and used for many reasons.
